Watch THIS…it made my night
I’ve been super busy getting ready for our trip to Haiti and responding to the tons of calls and e-mails that we’re getting here at Bedouins from the Relevant article. It’s been exciting and exhausting all together. We leave on Tuesday, so we’re finishing up the last few details of our trip now, and I still have 2 photo shoots and like 8 meetings! AH! Yesterday I had 2 separate shoots for Skirt Magazine. They were both a lot of fun, and the editor picked my favorite image to run in the mag! That doesn’t seem to happen all that often…at least with bands :). But here’s one of the images that I liked as well that didn’t get chosen. Keep an eye on Skirt these next couple of months, I’ll have several photographs in it, as well as a new add for my wedding business!

I found these pics when scanning the other day…sometime around my sophomore year in high school I broke my nose playing football at my best friend, Sam’s house. It was like 3 in the morning and we had to call my dad to take me to the hospital, where they jammed sponges up my nose and left it for a few days before performing surgery to fix it. If any of you ever wonder why i have a bump in the middle of my nose, this might have a litte something to do with it!

I’ve been a little busy…here’s a pic of me and my dad from when I was like 2 or 3ish…probably shot with what is now my Pentax k-1000

I’ve been scanning a lot of old pictures today that I found a while back at my parents house…here’s one that’s pretty amazing. I’m the ninja…

What a crazy weekend! We left Birmingham Friday afternoon for Piedmont Alabama to shoot Amy and Daniel’s wedding. We got to attend the rehearsal and dinner, then hung out in our motel for the rest of the evening watching that 70’s show, as usual! Saturday we shot the wedding (which was fantastic) and then drove back to Birmingham late that evening. When we got back we watched The Bridge to Terabithia…which was sad…for sure. Then Sunday we were up for Mosaic in the morning and then off to our friends, Jeremy and Nedra’s wedding in the evening. After which Jessi and I spent the evening reading and relaxing. Tomorrow is only ONE WEEK from our departure for Haiti! So this week is sure to be insanely busy…but I’ll try to keep up on the blog until I leave at least! Here’s another polaroid shot with the super lo-fi Colorpak II of my friend Paul Dow. Happy Labor Day and welcome to September!

This weekend I had the wonderful pleasure of shooting my good friends (and ex neighbor) Amy and Daniel’s wedding in beautiful Piedmont Alabama. It was a gorgeous wedding and we all had a great time. Congratulations Amy and Daniel! Thanks for including me in your special day!

The amazing Laurel-Dawn put this, along with a few other ads together for me. You’ll be able to find them in Skirt Magazine over the next few months.

I would like to encourage you all to go visit The Bedouins International site, and check out our “new-ish” blog. The blog is written by myself, along with several of the other staff members here at Bedouins. Check it out, and leave us some feedback! Thanks guys…Sorry no image today…I have like a million meetings and conference calls with reguards to photo shoot and or Bedouins in the next week (I think that I actually have 6 or 7 between now and next friday!) so that’s slowed down my shooting/editing process. I’ll have more new stuff coming in the next few days! Check out the blog HERE!
